My mom's birthday was during the cruise, so on the evening of Day Four I alerted the waitstaff and they brought in cake with a candle and sang "Happy Birthday" to her. I also had a card on her pillow each evening during the trip, and I had arranged in advance for a personal note from Shelli as well. I think she had a good time. I told her not to expect me to take her on a cruise for her birthday every year, though. : )
We continued to have just the most amazing food, and coming back to the room each night, enjoyed two surprises–the towel animals made by our steward, and the pillow gifts from Stampin' Up. Tonight's was a raffia tote filled to the brim with ink pads, the new Bitty Buttons and matching punches trio from the SUmmer Mini, and a brand new stamp set called Painted Petals. Mine saw ink for the first time yesterday, so you'll be seeing a post with those projects here soon.
On this particular evening, the waiters also sang for us after dinner. It was very interesting to hear "O Solo Mio" in so many different accents! I really enjoyed the main dining room experience. We were on the main level, but one evening I went to the third level to take a picture looking down on the amazing chandelier.
