Spring Luncheon decorations and programs

Yesterday I decorated for a church luncheon of about 45 attendees, with the theme "As Long As I Have Breath." We went with a springy bird theme, which consisted pretty much of all the decorations out of my living room with the addition of lavender and some sweet little birds' nests. Each table was different. I love decorating that way because you don't have to buy (and then be stuck with storing) a ton of multiples.

I also made the programs with all Stampin' Up materials– Something Borrowed Designer Series Papers, the Bird Builder Punch, and the Large Oval punch texturized with the Woodgrain embossing folder for the Big Shot and then sponged. MANY thanks to Kimberly and Kristin for helping me get that overly-ambitious design done on time!

It's the perfect day for a party, too, sunny and gorgeous with a warm breeze that has set all the tulips dancing gaily. I just picked a big bouquet of red ones to put by my kitchen sink. Over on the Song of My Heart's Devotion Facebook page I posted that on a day like this you can almost–almost–hear the words to the indescribable song that Creation sings to the One Who created her. Can you imagine the words to that one? I can't wait to hear the translation!
