I just love a good versatile stamp set that works for a bunch of different occasions. A favorite that I’m reaching for a lot these days is Nested Friends. I just love the sweet little twiggy nest and the tiny eggs and bird.
Depending on the look I’m going for, I can use the nest image or the nest dies, and stamped leaves or die-cut ones. I can color with Blends or Watercolor Pencils or a combo of both. It makes it easy to get a big variety of looks from the same bundle.
I had a lot of fun with specialty papers on these cards. The Distressed Gold is my absolute favorite; but the Textured Shimmer 12×12 was really cool, too. You can see the faint vertical stripe and the pearlescent shine on the Balmy Blue color above. So pretty!
Some of the greetings I used came from Daffodil Daydream. So I wound up with Easter, Mother’s Day, spring birthday, sympathy and even baby cards made with this bundle. WOW! It was definitely a good choice to add to my collection. Add it to yours!
