… and I don't even have a good story to go with my injury! I was transferring wet laundry into the dryer and felt something go TWANG! #owie So now I have a lovely brace and a strict schedule of ice and ibuprofen. The ironic thing is, I almost never do laundry–Mike does it all, Well, of course he does–I obviously cannot be safe doing common household chores by myself. : )
And of course I am righthanded, too. So that's put a dent in my crafting, for sure. I'm trying not to be TOO whiny, but, man… no one brought me ice cream, either. What's a girl gotta do around here to get some ice cream? But then I probably lost any and all claim to sympathy after I shared that Mike usually does the laundry, didn't I .. ..
Luckily I have a picture of something I stamped just before the laundry incident to share with you today! Sadly for my local club ladies, they will have to wait for our rain date to make these, as I was unable to prep and pack for their event tonight : (
Cute, huh? It can be made into a belated birthday card as well. Inside it says "Obviously it wasn't an EARLY bird." I don't know about you, but about half of what I manage to send out needs belated wishes stamped on it!!! #modernlife
These cute cards and envelopes aren't available any more, as they were free reward choices during a past Sale-A-Bration, but the layout is a nice one to snag. It uses up scrap paper really well, too. And I use this cut-apart technique with lots of sayings, when their orientation doesn't quite fit with my vision.

Bird Banter is retiring–get it before it's gone for good!
Update on Stampin' Blends Markers: these will be available again around June 15th. If you recall, the backorders were so huge on this incredibly popular new line of easy alcohol markers, that Stampin' Up had to turn ordering off to allow the manufacturers time to catch up. They hoped it would coincide with the opening day of the new catalog (June 1st) but it requires a couple more weeks! Oh well.
I know many of you are waiting to get them all–and I'm excited to share that there are NEW colors coming in the new catalog, too! Did your new catalog arrive? They have been hitting mailboxes all last week! Email me to request one if you were not on my mailing list.
That's it from me today. It's taken a ridiculous amount of time to type this post with my left hand. Ha! My parents are coming in today, so maybe I'll get some better sympathy from my mom. I've turned her into a stamper, too, so she'll feel my pain!
Being right-handed is not good when you hurt that hand. Everything I do is with the right. I feel for you!

Gosh. So sorry about your wrist. You are young to have that happen in that way. Maybe you should consider asking your doctor for a bone density test. I don’t want to worry you but that’s how I discovered I have osteoporosis.
On a happier note, I like your card. That bird banter set is a delight to work with.
