sneaky peeky–new Layered Labels and Framelits!

Waaaay too much fun going on here today! I took an hour this morning to play with my new Apothecary Accents Framelits for the Big Shot, and the new Layered Labels stamp set. You are going to want to make sure these are on your first new catalog order after June 1st!! They totally rock together!

Since I still had the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and the new In Colors out, I used those to pull together the next couple cards. Above, I used Summer Starfruit with Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green and Midnight Muse, with accents of Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon and the new In Color Dahlia embellishments. Gotta say, Gumball Green has totally grown on me! I wasn't sure about that one!

I especially liked using the "negative" leftover from cutting out the Framelits as a frame for my stamped images, as shown below:

Hmmm…. well that's a fun new thing–not! I am not sure why this card came in so huge compared to the others. I'll have to figure out what I did.

Anyway, it's a quick graduation card with Raspberry Ripple and Baja Breeze, and also uses the Layered Labels set with the coordinating Framelit. isn't that pretty? it's awesome that Framelits require no extra accessories or platforms to use with your Big Shot. And they're larger than a punch, so more stamped images will fit inside these.

You'll find multiple coordinating sets and Big Shot accessories in the new 2012-13 Stampin' Up catalog. Did you pick up your copy yet? Email me if you need one!
