I always plan a couple of very simple birthday cards in addition to the gender-specific and more specialized ones for the Birthday Bash every year. I don't know whether it was the cute little snail, the great new Sale A Bration sneak peek products, or the sentiment, but this "sorry I'm late" card was one of the first to run out this year. Sometimes I'm surprised by the ones people like best! I have my personal favorites, and it's amazing how often they are not yours.
Love the colors in the Everyday Enchantment papers, exclusively available as one of the reward choices when you spend $50 during Sale A Bration. This year, in addition to the papers, there is a brad and ribbon bundle as well as a coordinating stamp set. Love the 2012 SAB lineup! Sale A Bration starts on January 24th–email me for details! Local ladies should have received their tall SAB brochure in the mail last month.
Here's another card that was well-received at the event, though very, very simple.I think the color combination was compelling. It is Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango. I used my newest set, Confetti, to make the background patterns on the turquoise strip.
That's it for today… I have been burning the candle at both ends lately and I'm going to shut the computer off now. I loooooooove my fantastically fun hobby/job, but as with probably all work-from-home moms, I find it hard to locate the "off" switch a lot of times! It's hidden under a stack of paper here somewhere!
And when stamping IS your job, what do you do to relax?? Shop… for stamps, of course! Or in my case, cute stuff to wear at a stamping conference. This time next week, I'll be in sunny (hopefully) San Antonio doing my Make N Takes at Leadership!
Cute, simple cards. I found most of my ladies like these cute….papers, stamp set, colors better than some with more details. Who knew?!
Have fun getting yourself ready for Leadership! Wish I were going, but making a goal and plans to attend for sure next year!
