Scrumptious cards for the foodie in your life

Had to share some of the AMAZINGNESS that came out of the Stampin' Up demonstrator sample swap we did this month at our local meeting. WOW, are my friends talented!! Our theme was "foodie cards" and these are a few of my favorites.

The watermelon card was such a cute use of the Swirly Frames stamp set for the "rind." I love all the stitched detailing on the layers. Everything about this card screams "SUMMER!"

Look at the gorgeous clear-embossed and sponged background stamping on this coffee lovers card. And using vellum for the clear cup lid was genius!

And here's a clever and cute punch art burger and fries in a basket! Do you recognize the "pickle?" It's one of the porch cushions from Sitting Here stamp set! That's so smart! And what really ties it all together is the basket liner paper and the bottle of pop die cut.

This last one's perfect for tomorrow! It's "pi" day, get it? : ) Also done with the basket weave embossing folder. Jena told me she used the Cherry Cobbler Blends in each of the basket holes, then added a dab of Fine-Tip Glue in each. The result is SO realistic you almost expect it to smell like cherries!

Doesn't this make you just want to swap with us?? You totally can, you know! All you have to do is join by purchasing the Starter Kit. Even if you're not local or can't attend the demonstrator gatherings because of work or something. Because I love swapping SO much that I pay the shipping back to my long-distance team members who participate each month.

Can you imagine getting a package with beauties like these back in the mail?? It's all part of the fun of being a Stampin' Up demonstrator in my Song of My Heart family. I hope you'll think about it, and shoot me an email with any questions you think of. We'll chat, and I bet when you see what an amazing deal it is to be a demo, you'll be joining our exclusive demo swap in no time : )
