In all the excitement over the blog hop, I completely forgot to post this week's scrapbook page! This is the page where you use up the leftover buttons and one-of-a kind brads you have clattering around in your drawer. Using multiple embellishments feels so extravagant, yet hoarding them is silly, too, when a few more would add that extra KA-POW! to a page or card.
Start with a 12×12 and layer on a mat of 8×10. Add a horizontally-oriented 5×7 photo. This layout works best with a close up photo instead of a group photo–keep the subject simple or the page will feel too busy with the multiple circle punches, brads and buttons. Lay them down and keep playing with them until you like the arrangement–and then don't breathe until they are all adhered!
Happy scrappin'!
