Scrapper’s Sketch of the Week: 12/24/09

SSOTW 13

Sorry the sketch is late this week. I know you'll forgive me because it's Christmas! We are VERY glad to be back home after a fairly awful trip to Indiana and back (although a wonderful time there!). Ice storm all the way there, and then a big wet snow on the way home.

Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating the birthday of the King with your family and friends. If you are a Facebook Friend, feel free to take a moment to view our family Christmas letter in my Notes. It didn't make it out with the cards this year!

This page is a good basic page with a couple of interesting places to spice things up. First of all, you have multiple sizes of photos to work with–don't forget you can cut two smaller photos from one large one, if needed. They're all grouped around the focal point photo, so they should be related to it in some way–maybe individual pieces of the larger photo, taken in acute close-up? Depending on how creative you got with the photos, you may have a lot of journalling to do. In that case, I would consider journalling in a rectangle around the headline mat piece.

Happy scrapping! Hope you got a little bit of time to yourself over the holidays to get your hands inky. I've been "off" for three days, and I'm itchin' to get back in that little stamp room o' mine.

  1. Lyssa:
I was wondering if there is a way to print out your scrapbook pages as a grouping, rather than one at a time. It would be helpful.
    Thanks,

  2. That’s a good question, Sue. I will try to put a PDF together now and again that could be downloaded and printed. I’m glad you like my sketches enough to want them all! : ) Thanks for your comment.
