Made a bunch of these cards this week for Josephine's, the little boutique store that carries my cards here in Watertown. Many thanks to those of you who have purchased them from Charlotte! I can hardly keep them in stock. I'm glad that together Josephine's and I have been able to better met your card-purchasing needs on a more permanent basis.
I love to make these dresses–they're a little putzy, but so cute you don't even mind. And easy! Just use the largest scallop circle for the Big Shot, and trim out two of the sides. Remember that you can always trim more out if you need to–but you can't put it back if you cut it off! Leave four scallops at the top, that makes a good bodice.
Tie a sash around the middle and add two straps. I think a flower at the waist is cute! I also added some little pearl buttons with the WONDERFUL new self adhesive Basic Pearls.
LOVE the fun little sayings I have been using lately from the Chit Chat and Chat Room rub-on collections! These are on the Clearance Rack–hurry and go grab them before it is too late! Each pack has two sheets (one Whisper White and one Chocolate Chip) and each sheet has over 100 sayings, all of which fit into the Modern Label punch or the Large Oval punch. WOW! How useful is that! www.lyssa.stampinup.net
Hopefully I'll get some more of these made this week for the November 6th craft fair at Maranatha College. I'd also be happy to do special orders in advance if you need four or more. Hope to see you there!
Love the sassy, flirty look you achieved with these Lyssa! Sweet and simple and oh so fun. Thanks for sharing.
