First off, let me say right away that I do NOT have any news to share today after all… I know, BOO LYSSA… but I am really glad I double-checked before blurting it out to everyone. I will share it as soon as I get the go-ahead, though! And I have a lovely Come to Bethlehem card to share today so it's not a total loss, right?
We made this in the Watertown Christmas Club last night and it was a hit! Definitely one of those cards that looks better in person than in the photo, this Crumb Cake card embossed in Early Espresso has sponging, spritzing and Shimmer Spray using a die-cut Framelit shape from the Big Shot, and the coordinating piercing template. I like how it adds a real Middle-Eastern flair to the card.
Did you know we have Crumb Cake envelopes, too? we do! They'd be the perfect touch for your natural-looking Christmas cards this year. Everything I've shown you today (actually, everything on my blog) is from Stampin' Up, and if you don't have a local demonstrator, I'd be delighted to help you with your crafting needs at my shopping website, www.lyssa.stampinup.net Happy browsing!
At the Watertown meeting (Oct 15) one of the ladies made a camel that wasn’t quite stamped staight and ended up missing a leg. She commented, “Don’t know if that one will make it to Bethlehem.”
