Ok, that title made me laugh! I'm refering to the sentiment on the card, not to my awesome stamping abilities or card-making prowess! I love this saying (any excuse to use the word "ridiculous," which is fun to say and so appropriate for so many occasions!) and giggled when I saw it was a stamp in the new Amazing Birthday set.
I am hoping today IS ridiculously amazing for you and me both. I have stacked the deck, however, because we're on vacation this week out in my beloved Wyoming. You can take the girl out of the West but you can't take the West out of the girl! Looking forward to another glorious week at Grandpa and Grandma's and then the kids' first trip to Yellowstone National Park. We are all super excited. Looking forward to shutting off the electronics and just getting out in God's glorious Creation for a few days.
So, about the card, eh? This is another one of my demo swap cards for Convention in July. I did the baby-wipe-as-ink-pad technique on the main image, so if you were wondering how I got it to be so many colors at once–that's it! I used four of the five new In Colors–Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist and Mossy Meadow. Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist for the base and background helped keep it looking masculine, and a mat layer of Pool Party and So Saffron Candy Dots faux brads kept it light.
I used two brand new punches, Spiral Border and the What's Up arrows, and the new Tiny Triangles embossing folder for the Big Shot. Love playing with my new goodies! Click any link below to go get yourself some new goodies from my online store!
