I just love the colors in the Big Top Birthday Designer Series Papers–Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Peach Parfait–so bright and welcoming! I managed to use 6 of the twelve patterns on one 12×12 scrapbook page for this layout. It would work for any of our pre-coordinated Designer Series Papers–just take six 3×3 squares and arrange them in a grid pattern on the left hand side, embellishing each one differently. Choose a solid color mat for a single, larger photo on the right hand side–nothing too busy as this is a colorful, wild spread, and the eye needs a place to "rest."
I used Perfect Pennants and the coordinating Pennant builder punch to make this cute little banner to curve around the edge of the photo. Just a little touch, but it takes the page from something simple to something special in zero to sixty!
Big Top Birthday DSP is retiring and is available now only while supplies last. It's 10.95 per pack, with 12 double-sided sheets. Click here to go see Big Top Birthday and the other retiring papers (some of which are discounted!) on my shopping website, www.lyssa.stampinup.net and be sure to look at the digital version, too, for My Digital Studio! And hey, speaking of MDS–I have one spot left for my MDS Worknight tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. If you want to come and check out the free 30-day trial, or need some help learning to navigate MDS, or just want to come and work on your own projects and ask questions as you come across them–this is the time!
Gorgeous page. May have to CASE this as I have nearly an entire pack of this paper left… ooops! Thanks Lyssa!
