Quick Sunburst Card: or, what to do with scraps from the new Drapery Fold card

So I've been making a LOT of the Drapery Fold cards (see the three-minute video here!) in every color imaginable, and true to form, I cannot bring myself to toss the long, angular scrap leftover from this technique. I finally sat down to do something with them, and this is what I came up with!

Sunburst cards are super popular right now. There's even a brand new die for the Big Shot (#140617) out from Stampin' Up this spring, and a coordinating stamp set & die bundle, which is fun. But you can make it at home with these Drapery Fold scraps, or any other scraps, pretty simply.

Just choose a focal point and start adhering strips down, spaced a little apart. The narrowest points of the triangles should be towards the center. Work your way all the way around the card, and when you're done, cover that focal point with your stamped and punched saying or embellishment. Soooo easy!
