Here's another card from the Birthday Bash this morning. This entire card was designed around the fact that I have literally almost 200 Bashful Blue brads on hand. I tend to use the Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Barely Banana ones from the assortment pack a lot more than the blue, apparently!
The base is Bashful Blue and the mat is Certainly Celery. The butterflies are randomly stamped on Whisper White using bashful, celery and Apricot Appeal ink. I punched a Scallop Square and mounted a trimmed-out butterfly on it. Then I used the 1/16th inch handheld punch to make three holes in a row, starting with the center one. Inserting three brads was as easy as pie and looks cute as a bug! Ummm… make that cute as a butterfly!
very cute, and a great way to use up those brads! I do that too, with certain colors! Too funny!!
Oh, I love this card! What a good idea for your butterfly!
