Presto Papers and Smooch Spritz rock my world

Look at how fun this is!!! I love how this card turned out. I sat down to play with the new Presto papers and Smooch Spritz from the Summer Mini catalog and this is what happened. I used the pattern with lines from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream on it, and just blotchily sponged Basic Gray ink all over it. Presto has all kinds of totally awesome patterns in the pack–the little picture in the Summer Mini doesn't do it justice!

Here's a tip for working with Presto papers–not only can you sponge, brayer and spritz ink on them, you can also stamp on them! For this Breast Cancer Awareness card, I stamped the Ribbon of Hope in Regal Rose ink, then sponged some around each ribbon to soften. Then I took a tissue and wiped all the excess ink off the embossed pattern of the Presto. Love it!

I am just addicted to the Chic Boutique stamp set lately. I've used it at every club, workshop and meeting I've had this month! Here's another one, this one an MDS hybrid card. Can you guess what is printed on the computer and what is not?

If you're lookin' to purchase some Smooch Spritz to bling up your work, I'd highly suggest the white as it is the easiest to use. This is not like the homemade Shimmer Spray–Smooch comes out in a true spritz, rather than a mist. If a darker blop lands on your project in just the wrong location, you will not be too happy. So the gold and silver would be second choices, and the timber brown is very intense–practice on scratch paper first, for sure. The Color Catcher is a nice touch–professional it will make you feel. Plus, you can haul it along to crops and friends' houses easily because it folds flat. Love that!
