Pink & white Drapery Fold wedding cards

I'm addicted to the Drapery Fold technique I shared in yesterday's video! Did you try it yet? It's so stinkin' easy and it looks so amazing. I had to share these two wedding cards I made with it.

For this top card… I have to say, I had NO idea the stripes were going to line up that way. I was planning to use this paper flowery side up, but when I cut my diagonal line (watch the video!) I cut it with the wrong side facing up. I wasn't going to just pitch it, naturally, so I folded it anyway and adhered it to the card base. Turned out pretty wild to have all those striped perfectly lines up!

I used the Rose Wonder Thinlets from the new 2016 Spring Catalog and threaded my organza ribbon through it before tying in a knot. This was my swap card for my team meeting this month, and I am happy to say everyone loved it. I brought paper and scored enough for everyone to take home a sample as a template, too.

This next card is just TOO sweet… I really, really, REALLY like the new Blossom Bunch Punch for making these little white daisies. They just have so much dimension, and they provide a great contrast to the stiffly pleated folds on the background.

I have more of these cards to share with you, but that is it for today. Somebody has to make dinner, you see… SOMEBODY, I say. : ) Thanks for coming to see me, and if you need any of the goodies to make some of these cards on your own, here are the links to my online store. We're having a giant sale right now, too, lucky you! Give me a holler if you need anything. Lyssa@songofmyheartstampers.com
