Did I mention I have a LOT of pink to use up? Today's cards use four different shades of pink from Stampin' Up. Rose Red is the darkest, followed by Regal Rose. The pastel Pretty in Pink is next, and then comes Pink Pirouette, so light it's practically white. I'm in mono-chromatic heaven!
This is a super easy technique to do, and once you've made the circles, there is an almost endless variety of ways to arrange them on the card. Here's four quick examples for your inspiration–hope you try it, because it's simple and fun!
To make the circles, start by punching the Small Heart punch from cardstock FIRST, then positioning your 1.25 inch circle punch over the punched-out negative and punching the circle SECOND. I backed my heart circles with plain circles, or you could leave them un-backed so whatever your card base was made of would show through.
I decorated the insides of the cards with the remaining circle punches, just for extra fun. Or, you could just toss a handful in the envelope for confetti before you seal it, if you wanted to annoy the recipient!
These are so cute – simple – love them. Thank you for sharing.
love this Lyssa! Love monochromatic style!
