Here's a solution for those of us who love the intricate look of stained glass window-style stamps but don't have the time to individually color a bazillion cards with Blendabilities, like I did for this version. I created my "no-color" card using some simple techniques and products you probably already have in your stamp room.
Supplies List
- Gentle Peace Photopolymer Stamp Set
- Clear Block E
- Lost Lagoon 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock
- Lost Lagoon Classic Stampin' Pad
- Soft Sky 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock
- Silver Foil Sheets
- Banner Punch
- Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folders
- Big Shot Die-Cut Machine
- Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder
- Heat Tool
- All Is Calm Snowflake Embellishment
- Mini Glue Dots
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Silver 1/8" Ribbon
Cut your card base (I used Lost Lagoon) to the regular size of 8.5×5.5 inches, folded in half, and your background mat (I used Soft Sky) to 4×5.25 inches. Ready? Let's start!

Beautiful card Lyssa!
Lyssa…it’s so beautiful!!! Now I will have to reconsider that stamp, had convinced myself I didn’t have time to color it in. You are a very good bad girl!
Love this card, it’s so pretty. And since I don’t like to color, what a great idea!!
Nice job, Lyssa!
Lyssa, How did you get that perfect silver frame around the stamp? It’s beautiful and I see you use it on all your creations with this stamp. Thank you for sharing.
What a gorgeous card Lyssa! Thanks for reminding us that gorgeous doesn’t always have to be complicated. Love the step-by-step tutorial, and your hints to step it up if you’d like a little more wow.
Absolutely beautiful! I love seeing a non-coloring sample for this card.
Lyssa, You always amaze me and this card is an example of why I check your blog each and every day. (I’m a faithful reader and lousy commenter.)
Beautiful! And easily massed produced. Just the inspiration I needed.
