Okey-doke! I'm totally exhausted but I think I'm all set for the craft fair tomorrow. The last card is stamped, the last album is priced, the van is packed… so the only task that remains is to remind you all to come and visit me! The Maranatha Women's Softball Team Benefit Craft Show and Gift Fair (whew, long name!) is Saturday, November 6th, 2010, from ten to four.
Come early for the best selection–I have hundreds of cards, but I am usually seriously picked over by the end of the afternoon!
And in case you're planning to squeeze in some stamping this weekend, here's a quick Christmas card that goes together in a flash! This is my swap for the area demonstrator meeting I am going to Sunday afternoon. I love snowflake cards because they just work perfectly for my favorite monochromatic color schemes. I used the Northern Flurry Strip die and the Northern Frost embossing folder for my snowflakes–and some Shimmer Spray, 'course!
This card also features some shadow stamping–you stamp the sentiment in one color, then offset it just slightly and stamp it with another color. See it on the greeting? You can control EXACTLY where the stamp goes if you use the handy-dandy Stamp A Majig tool.
Ok, I'm beat–time for bed! Don't forget to come visit me and see what I have been working my little fingers to the bone for all these past weeks.
Hope your craft fair is AWESOME! Can’t wait to get this card Sunday!
I was at the Craft Fair and it really blessed my heart to see a young lady sharing the Gospel with a girl who was making a card. What a great idea!
Beautiful cards on your display, as well!
Hope you do well at the craft fair — working on one at my own church! Good way to share lots of things.
I was unaware that happened, Lisa. It must have been during a really busy time. Thanks for letting me know.
Simple but sweet! Love the shadow stamping! I’m sure this will be a hit as your swap! Hope the fair was a huge success for you! Hope you don’t come home too exhausted! Hugs xxaxx
