I am about to head off here to play reindeer games with my kids' classes at school, but I didn't want to leave you sans inspiration this morning! I am just tickled that I thought of this Christmas gift for my eight nephews and nieces while I was prepping all those magnet sheets (www.fridgedoor.com) for the Build A Bear events.
I know the little ones will love these on the fridge or whiteboard, and the older ones can put them inside their lockers to personalize them. use the chalkboard DE that's on sale right now to cover an inexpensive cookie sheet or tin sign and have a combination magnet/chalkboard!
Can you imagine making sets of all 26 letters for pre-schoolers to play with? I also think teachers whose students have metal desk-fronts, or metal doors on the classrooms, would really like this project, too!
All eight names didn't even take me a half hour to cut, and then I happily discovered that the letters fit right inside a Bitty Box die cut, so I have adorable tiny boxes to put their gift in.
I know this Big Shot Alpha is expensive, but honestly, it is one of the very best investments I have EVER made in regards to crafting tools. I hope you will consider it during Sale A Bration (Jan-Mar), when this alpha alone would net you hostess benefits AND three free Sale A Bration sets/punches/paper choices! Ask me for details today!
I love this project! I agree, I bought this alpha last year and I use it quite a bit. Well worth the investment! (and I have saved so much on buying chipboard cause now I make my own!)
Great idea! I may have to copy this today!!!
