My Star Player page

Star Player 12x12 page  Here's a quick and colorful boy-themed scrapbook page for your little Star Player! It also features two of the very best punches a scrapper can own–the Spiral Notebook edge punch and the Photo Corners punch. I'm also really enjoying the Large Star and Small star punches. We have a coordinating wheel and several stamp sets that match these punches–so cool! The Sporting stamp set would instantly personalize this page to whatever sport your little guy (or gal) loves, too.

The colors used here were Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy and Real Red–a classic boys' color scheme. The alphabet is Big Deal, one of my very favorites and one I will never part with! It is stamped in Pumpkin Pie on Pumpkin Pie for a tone-on-tone look so its not too busy.

Some of my friends are really into digital scrapbooking, but although their things are lovely when finished, I don't care for it for my own crafting. I guess I just need the feedback from the actual fibers and papers. I've always painted my murals with my hands and I never use gloves when I garden, either! So a page just doesn't seem complete without some dimension to it. For texture on this page, I added Real Red brads and Pumpkin Pie and Real Red gingham ribbons–tied in knots–no bows on this page! HINT: save yourself a LOT of adhesive if you use the brads to attach the elements and photos to the page.
