My little Easter bunnies

We don't make a huge deal out of having new clothes for Easter, preferring to focus on the spiritual aspects of the day and have the egg hunts and candy be a sidelight, but regardless, the kids did look really adorable this Resurrection Sunday morning. I managed to catch them before they headed to the Fellowship Hall to eat their Easter Breakfast at our church bright and early this morning and get some photos before the clothes got ruined.

Aren't they cuties? They're getting so gigantic! Dan looked so sharp in his black suit and tie. This is the last year we can eek out of that one for sure, though. I think he's going to be as tall as his uncles and grandpa when he grows up! My mom and I found this brand new, gorgeous pale pink flower girl dress for Natalie at a second hand shop this summer for just $8.50. Wish we could magically find the champagne satin David's Bridal gown she is supposed to order for her Uncle Mark's wedding this summer in a shop like that!

Here they are with one of our adopted students from the college where Mike teaches. They really like her. She's been a real blessing to us by babysitting on very short notice sometimes! We appreciate all the Maranatha students who travel the 20 miles down to our church to minister to us.

Awww…. sweet! And no, I didn't bribe them to hug each other. It is such a delight to me that my two get along so well so much of the time. They are far from perfect, of course, but when the din gets deafening, I just remind myself to be happy they're playing together instead of screaming at each other!
