Here's my baby angel. I have been keeping her a secret because I sent her in for a contest, but she didn't win. I am hoping I will see photos of her on the displays at Convention, but there are no creator's names attached to those projects, and I won't be there, no one will know this little sweetie was mine…so I thought the time had come to post her to my blog so she can get some of the appreciation she deserves! I know it's a little out of season for an angel right now, but tuck this idea away for the holidays… The angel is really quite easy to make. Just cut four large pennants from Whisper White. I stamped all over them in So Saffron, very lightly, with Sweet Stems. The wings are one of the small pennant cut from So Saffron. The hair is the scalloped circle on the pennant die, as is the halo, with the center punched out with our largest circle punch. Those and the eyebrows (slot punch) are cut from So Saffron as well. The arms are pieces of the smaller pennant which were cut out incidentally to the Whisper White large pennants. The face and hands are cut from Blush Blossom. The mouth is Basic Gray and the eyes and nose are hand-drawn. I added pink cheeks with the Stampin' Pastels.
To make the free-standing angel, glue the four Whisper White pennants together with the point facing up. You can make Christmas Trees in the same exact manner. Create the head and adhere to a toothpick, slipping the toothpick down into the center of the pennant body. Attach the wings, arms and hands with dimensionals. After she is all together, add Crystal Effects and Dazzlin' Diamonds to make her sparkle!
So there she is… stay tuned for some awesome fall ideas with the Pennant Die. I told you I wasn't done with that die yet!

WOW! She’s gorgeous! What an awesome idea! Sorry she didn’t win the contest. I wish I would have seen her before I went to convention, cuz I would have kept an eye out for her so I could see her IRL. TFS!
