Love & Hugs cards

Delightfully Detailed lace lasercut papers stampin up Label me pretty rubber stamps cardmaking
Seems like I need more of these cards than I can make, lately! We've had several family members and close friends get diagnosed recently with cancer. My little girl has a sweet friend whose momma is very close to Heaven. And my darling grandma is waiting patiently to go Home. And all we can do is pray for grace and a strengthening of our faith.

I love that a card is a visual reminder that someone is praying over you. It's such a powerful thing, the borrowed strength of others when our own has failed. I've made many a card that has the breath of unspoken prayers upon it.

I'd be so honored if you'd use any of the ideas you've found here at Song of My Heart to bless others with your talents! If you' like to recreate these notecards, here's the supplies I used.

Here's a tip for working with lace papers. They can be tricky to glue down! I put down wax paper, then brush Fine-Tip Glue or Tombow Multi on with a paintbrush, working quickly because it dries super fast. Peel the lace up and adhere to cardfront. Toss the waxed paper and rinse out the brush. No mess!

The lace is adhered thoroughly, with no little sticky-uppy bits to get torn. This technique also works with any finely-detailed die-cut. AND, there's no unsightly glue reside where it doesn't belong.

Blessings on you as you use your creativity to bless others during difficult times!
