Life is short–use the pretty papers! Paisleys & Posies Cards

 Use the paper

I've been playing with the "suite" new Petals & Paisleys products and having lots of fun! Here's four cards I came up with after I finally got up the courage to cut into the paper! Are you like that, too? I'm trying to be better about enjoying my pretty things instead of saving them for something "special"… and then never using them at all.

Couldn't decide if I liked this one better with (above) or without (below) the grunge stamping… I think maybe without. What do you think?

A little bit of that paisley print goes a long way… I think I got 16 cards out of this one pattern in the Paisleys & Posies pack!

Love the unusual color combo–Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, Delightful Dijion and Rich Razzleberry, with Very Vanilla. Works for autumn but also works year-round. Really elegant.

  1. These are gorgeous Lyssa. This is such a versatile set, and paisleys are NEVER out of style. I really like the way you used the mosaic DSP behind the paisley – great scale and colors! You’ve got it young lady!

  2. WoW! I can honestly say I never really liked the paper and thought I didn’t want it or need it.
Now after seeing your cards………….. I think I need it!!!!!

  3. I like the grunge with that “type of card” but for a sympathy card the grunge can be eliminated. Not sure if the without grunge looks different because of no grunge or the little extra accent by the sentiment is not there? Either way.. I like both for different reasons. lol
