Love this sentiment from the stamp set Trust God–"Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God." Such a good reminder to do what we can and stop worrying about what we cannot control. I made this card this weekend at my scrapbooking retreat, using the Stippled Blossoms stamp set. "Stippled" refers to the way the image is made up of hundreds of little tiny dots, like an Impressionist painting.
Stippled Blossoms is also a 2-Step Stampin' set, which provides the beautiful color variations you see on this sample… and it's SO EASY! You stamp the solid image in the lighter color, and the stippled detailed image right over the top. I used a clear-mount stamp set so I could see where to place it–no Stamp A Majigg stamp positioner needed! I stamped the roses with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie ink, then the leaves in Certainly Celery and Old Olive ink.
Very pretty card. I like the sentiment stamped on the doily and placed along the side edge of the card.
This is stunning Lyssa! Love it! I had this set on my wish list and pulled it off. I think I’ll be adding it back! 🙂
Gorgeous card! It is so colorful and spring-like! I have the Trust God stamp set, too, and love it.
