Learn to make these encouraging Cross Collage cards for your friends!

When I chose to feature Hold on to Hope as the stamp set for the February 2018 Class of the Month samples, I wanted to share some out of the box ideas as well as more traditional uses for the elegant images. This Brusho watercolored background, with a cross embedded in the embossing, fits that bill. Quick "embedded embossing" tutorial here.

I also discovered that the verse can be cut apart and used partially or in full, giving you a lot more options for that one Scripture stamp.

This card reminds me of the verse in little earlier in Isaiah, where God promises, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." I bet we can all think of several friends right now who are going through deep waters and could really use a card and some encouragement!
