Last Day of School

Ok, ya'll are gonna haveta bear with me, because it's a proud mamma and papa day around here! Blatant offspring bragging alert!!

It was the last day of school for my "babies" and they brought home straight A report cards. Natalie won an award for straight A's the entire school year (Dan had a couple B's previously which he brought up to A's). Natalie was also first in her class for Bible and History, and second in English, Reading and Science. And the little cutie patootie was bummed she didn't "win" for math and phonics! LOL!!

See my big giant kids? They're adorably cute as well as smart like their daddy! It was pretty sunny at noon today, so I couldn't get them to un-scrunch their faces for the picture, though.

Both kids got their standardized test scores back today as well, and all the "above average" marks just made me so thankful for our fantastic school and dedicated, hard-working teachers. I hope they have a fabulous, well-deserved summer break! I could not do what they do!!
