Fellow Stampin' Up demo Jackie Topa is a genius, I tell ya! She designed this awesome stationery desk set and shared the instructions for it with me. I sure appreciate the generous hearts of my fellow demos. I learn so much from them. Theirs is a gift that keeps on giving, as each demo takes their idea and adds their own original twists, improvements, and embellishments.
Above is my version of Jackie's box, using Urban Garden DSP, Basic Gray cardstock and taffeta ribbon, and the new Felt Fusions Too flowers with rhinestone brads. It folds up into a perfect rectangle (shown closed on left) and when you take off the lid, the front flips down to reveal an address book, pocket for postage stamps, a pen and Post It Note holder, gift card envelopes, gift tags and five matching cards and envelopes. Such an awesome gift!
I held a class on this stationery box recently and I have a few leftover supply packets and instruction sheets (with photos). They take about two hours start to finish, inlcuding the inserts. If you are interested, the kits are $15 each ($20 if I need to mail them). They include everything except Sticky Strip (a must have for this project) and regular adhesive. They are first come, first served, so act today!
A friend of mine recently did these at a class/camp and she gave me one for Christmas. WOW. I mean, just WOW. I’ve looked at the directions for them and I have been too totally intimidated to try them. WOW. Have I said, “WOW”? LOL!
