My downline and friend Karri is getting married at the end of the month, so at last night's demo meeting we had a little party. I neglected to get a picture of Karri like I planned, so I swiped this engagement one off her SU website!
However, this being me we're talking about, I did remember to get a photo of the food!
Aren't the cupcakes just the cutest? We have a brand spankin' new gourmet Pic N Save that opened Saturday and we are cheerfully trying out all the new stuff. These were just too adorable so I ditched the cake idea and ordered these instead.
I decorated the old place with pennant banners and strings of butterflies in the bright tropical color scheme I pulled from the plates and napkins I purchased. Everything went together in a flash with the Big Shot!
Everyone brought Karri thank-you cards to use after the wedding, which she appreciated. We had a lot of ground to cover at the meeting, but we did manage to squeeze in one cheesy party game. After all, you have to have cheesy party games at a shower, right?
We had so many milestones this month–lots of anniversaries, two promotions, huge sales, new members–what a great meeting!
