Hey everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't updated ya'll on leadership like I promised! I had an unfortunate time getting here due to a mechanical malfunction in Kansas City, which caused me to have to run like a crazy woman to make the big opening night party. We didn't get home until really late, after I'd been up since 3:30 a.m. Then I had a horrible sleep (in a very nice hotel, though!) and we had to get up at 5:45 again–and they kept us hopping until ten last night! I did try to update ya'll then, but had an unexpected computer shutdown
SOOOO…. I have TONS to show you all–you would NOT believe the swaps!!! My goodness, we have talented demonstrators!!!–but it is going to have to wait, because it's time to go again–another jam-packed day planned and I won't be "home" until ten p.m. again.
I did want to thank everyone who was praying for me and thinking of me on Thursday morning for my presentation. It went very well (I think!) although I didn't get through all my notes until the third round (at which point I had become entirely confused about which group I had told what to). But everyone seemed to get at least a couple of ideas they could implement on the topic, so that's good! And I am very thankful for the opportunity to give back to SU.
Ok! Gotta run! Super excited to share all the amazing things SU has in store–I accidentally jammed the camera's memory card in my computer upside down, so if I get it fixed and have ANY time leftover, I will throw a bunch of photos up, maybe even get a few added into this post. Chat with you soon–and may I just say what an honor it has been for me to meet many of you this week!!! That's so cool.
