I had to buy this sign when I saw it at Shopko last month. It just cracked me up. My husband and I make fun of that line from Sixth Sense "I see dead people" all the time. Happy March, everyone!
Here's a fun little Bitty Box project I have been making for club favors, with tiny shamrocks made with my Heart to Heart punch. And of course, the thing that fits best in the Bitty Box is Ghiradelli squares… mint for St. Patty's day, of course! The cute green and orange tree-patterned paper is from the Sale A Bration DSP pack. The stamp is from Teeny Tiny Wishes (love that set, because I know I'll always have at least one saying for pretty much every holiday or occasion out there).
And here's a little more green, this time Old Olive with a Top Note quilt card. This is a cheater version when I am too lazy to cut all those little squares–I left the DSP in one-inch tall strips and just staggered the strips. I didn't run this one through the Big Shot embossing folder, but you should, because it looks amazing when you do!
There's–big surprise, right?–Crystal effects on the shamrock that makes it shiny, and also dotted around the scalloped oval punch. The papers are from the Sweet Pea DSP stack in the Occasions Mini, and some from the SAB stack as well. I like how the SO Saffron color breaks up the heavy dose of green.
If you're looking for more St. Patrick's Day ideas, click here to see a fun "lucky" banner I made last year, and stay tuned for lots more green in the next two weeks from this wild Irish lassie!
Cute projects, Lyssa, and I am cracking up about the sign! My DD would like that.
I saw that sign too, but my hubby and I opted for 2 different ones. The first one said “The leprechauns made me do it!” and the second one said, “I’m Irish, what’s your excuse?” I think they’re hilarious! And being Irish, we can get away with it! Love the projects too! Very festive!
