Ok, back to stamping! Couple more finished cards to share today from the Stamparatus techniques post. Guess a smart girl would have made individual posts of each of these, eh? But I can never wait to share, especially when a technique has really WOWed me.
Motion stamping is nothing new, but with the Stamparatus, it's foolproof because your stamp is always in the perfect position for the next image. Because the plate moves instead of the paper, there's no way to mess it up! Check out the original post for more info.
Works great for a car, horse, plan or bicycle stamp, of course, but what other ways can we use this moveable hinge technique? (which, by the way, is exclusive to the Stamparatus over other positioning tools.) Well, turn it sideways and you get some fun ombre fade on any kind of stamp you care to use!
Gradient color is just so restful to the eye. Plus, in this case it only takes one ink pad to seem like three different shades. That's an ombre look anyone can achieve even if your craftroom is SLIGHTLY less stocked than mine : )
