Are you a fan of monochromatic color schemes, like me? The Modern Medley double-sided patterned papers were made for people like us! This week I really dove into a pack of it and I loved how easy and elegant it was. This simple layout uses three 3×1.25 inch pieces on a 4×3.25 inch Basic Black mat. I used the Regarding Dahlias stamp set for my focal point piece, and Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon with a Vintage Designer Button threaded with a little bit of hemp twine.
Simple and classy… I like to think I specialize in simple, practical techniques and tips for real-life stampers. The complicated stuff is lovely to look at and fun to do when you have time, but most of us just need quick and cute ideas for cards and pages that look involved but really aren't. Thank goodness I work for Stampin' Up, because they are da BOMB at quick and cute!
