Yesterday was Mike and I's 18th wedding anniversary. It's so funny to think I was 18 when we met and now we have been married longer than that! This isn't the card I made for him but it's close, with the giant word "happy" on the front, stamped in the new In Colors and paired with Early Espresso ink. Just a fun masculine card that can be changed out for pretty much any occasion. We made this at my friend Jeri's workshop last week, too, and had fun thinking up other five-letter words that would fit!
Don't we clean up nice? This is an old pic, from the 2011 Stampin' Up cruise to Alaska. And I can't ever look at it without thinking, "whoa, I need lipstick," and remembering that I was very seasick that evening–but I do like it because Mike is rarely in a tux these days and he looks soooo yummy in one.
WARNING: Gonna go all mushy on you for a minute… will give you a second to tune out if you want to… ok… anyone else need to leave? No? Ok, then may I just tell you how besotted I am with this boy? I still wake up every morning and think about how blessed I am that this incredible person chose to share his life with me.
