Guess Who’s in Coconut Shells and Grass Skirts at the Aloha Event?!

(Picture removed by request)
What a riot! You know, there's ONE in every crowd… but in a crowd of stampers, there's bound to be at least TWO! I was delighted to see two of my fun ladies come in grass skirts and I was VERY proud of them for staying in them the whole event! I promised to crop the photo to protect their identities… oh and just so you know–IT WASN'T ME!!

(Edited to add: One of the ladies is afraid that she will be recognized and the picture would make the rounds at work, so I am removing the photo for her peace of mind. Better safe than sorry when the Internet is concerned–she's right!)

Bridget (proud owner of a new Big Shot!) and Holly (my newest team member and a very talented scrapper) sample the coconut-white chocolate-macadamia nut brownies and fresh fruit.

Ruth and Mikayla enjoyed getting out their authentic Hawaiian attire and leis and reminiscing about their trip to the Islands a few years ago. Lots of good memories!

Michelle, Cathy and Theresa learn how to use the Big Shot with the uber-cool Mahattan textured Impressions die. Is that thing ever cool! I can't believe it's only $7.95, too.

Sue and Carolyn have fun figuring out how to make the pocket card with the new Scalloped Oval punch and matching Oval All set from the spring mini catalog. Sorry I forgot to type up the nstructions, ladies! Suzette and Bridget try to figure it out in the photo below.

Cathy, Mary and Michelle start their emboss resist card. This was the first time I used Build A Brads on a project and everyone thought they were very cool! Stay tuned for a post on the three projects we made. MAHALO–thanks– for the trip, ladies, and thanks for making a great party today. This party was the only thing that kept me from sinking into a black hole of a pity party this week, thinking that my wonderful trip is over!
