Graduation Tassels and Bubbles card

Call me crazy, but I had an itch to make tassels the other day. I just love making them and there are such pretty twine colors to choose from. I was planning to add a tassel to these thank you cards, and somehow they just morphed into graduation caps! Oh well, I'll need those too, later this spring.

You may not have this bubble stamp (from Beauty Abounds) or the sentiment (from Flowering Desert) but I wanted to share the super simple graduation hat idea. It's just a 3×3 square of Basic Black, cut end-to-end diagonally. The 3/4 inch circle punch is the center (it's also exactly the right-proportioned circle for the Daisy Punch centers, FYI). You could use it with store-bought tassels or make your own.

There are all kinds of ideas for invites, centerpieces, banners and more that can be adapted to any color scheme or theme. I just love customizing a party to the special guest of honor. 1. Such a cute and easy card. Love the graduation cap! And those bubbles are one of those stamps that make great ‘homemade DSP’.
I wish I could stamp with you in person! <3
