It's been an unexpectedly quiet day here as I have a little one home sick. I expected to hear three hours non-stop chatter at minimum when she got off the bus from her zoo field trip yesterday, but instead she was very quiet and subdued–and it went downhill from there. No fun! My apologies to any other kids who get it–I swear she wasn't sick at all when she went to school that morning!
And wouldn't you know, Mike and I have a BIG date tonight. We're going to see Les Miz in Madison. We have been wanting to do this since before we got married (that's gettin' to be a while back now). So thankful for Gramma Shirley to be willing to switch plans at the last second and drive up here to watch over our little sickie, instead of the sleepover at her house that we had planned.
So–gotta scoot, but didn't want to leave you sans inspiration for the day. Here's a quick one using the retired set Wonderful You, combined with Charming, some Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon, some of the First Edition paper (which is carrying over from the last mini catalog!) and an Antique Brad.
The colors are Crumb Cake and Soft Suede, and if you see half a hint of rose in there, well, that's because…. well, the truth is…. fact of the matter… I don't really, as such, clean my stamps all that much! I know, I know! Bad girl! Bad example!
