Ended up about forty cards short this year, so I needed one more quick but cute design. I had a bunch of Coastal Cabana-colored envelopes left over from the Watercolor Winter Kit, so I went with that color and kind of winged it from there. I definitely did not have enough play time with The Newborn King stamp set, so that was a natural choice, too.
The pictures don't do it justice. Everything was embossed in silver and really sparkled in the light. I tried without luck to get a camera angle that would show you what it really looked like. Oh well–use your imagination. You're creative, right?!
Things might slow down here a dab for the next few days, as we're spending Christmas with family this week. So I'll share my Christmas message to you now.
Dear reader, I hope you DO know the Newborn King was born so that He could grow up and die on a cross for the sins of the whole world. I hope your life DOES bring Him glory, and that you live on purpose, with purpose, in order to praise and thank Him for coming. It's the only thing that matters in the world.
If you ever have any questions about why Jesus had to go through all that and did it willingly, please consider asking me. This would be the best Christmas ever, indeed, if you met the Savior and got it settled, once and for all.
May your holiday season be filled with memories both dol and new, and love and laughter from start to finish! I'll see you in a few days as we do a fun "Year in Review" post and gear up for the Birthday Bash, Sale A Bration and the Stampalooza!
Love,
