We made six layouts during the morning Make N Take session at the Scrapbook Marathon last month, and everyone enjoyed a cute Christmas layout that will be perfect for scrapping those present-opening pictures this year. We stamped a row of presents for a border on the left hand page, and successfully pulled off a VERY busy print background on the right hand page, all in cheerful Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder.
The stamp sets were Your Presents (fabulous for ANY time of year) and Oh What Fun (coordinates with the adorable tag kit in the Holiday mini catalog.)
TIP: I wanted to point out the layout on the right hand page. Those green panels are one sheet of 8.5×11 inch cardstock, cut in quarters. They look awesome arranged like this on an 11×11 inch mat. It's similar to a grid, but more interesting because two of the pictures are horizontal and two are vertical. Plus, there's one in the middle as well, for a grand total of five pictures on one page–yet nothing feels crowded. BONUS!
