Happy December, everyone!
There are lots of cute flower pot cards out there, but here's my version of it, done up for Christmas. I try my best to accommodate my club members' and hostesses' requests to learn specific things, and so when one of them asked about flower pot cards, I was more than happy to oblige.
However, it not being a terribly flowery time of year here in cool and crisp autumnal Wisconsin, I decided to turn it into a pot of Christmas poinsettias–which also gave me free reign to use quantities of the shimmer spray I am now officially addicted to! But you can make it with any color or flower. It is especially nice with the Flower Daisies #2 Big Shot die in the fall.
The Real Red poinsettias are made with two layers of the Five Petal Flower punch, and a yellow or gold brad in the center. The leaves are made with the same punch, in Garden Green. They are arrange to cover the top of the pull-out card that in inside of the pot.
A tiny strip of leftover Christmas Cocoa flocked specialty DSP from the Holiday Mini Catalog really added a nice touch. I like the Whisper White tafetta ribbon better than the shiny Organza ribbon on this project, don't you?
Thank you for useful information.
