I don't consider myself overly-girly, but I do like a good doily card now and again! These are pretty girly, with flowers, pearls, ruched ribbon and plenty of Sweet Sugarplum. I'm working on craft fair stock, and I try to have a wide variety of styles to tempt everyone who passes my booth.
Didn't think we had oval doilies? We don't! I used one full doily and half of another to back my oval focal point. The ribbon cleverly hides the overlapping place on either side. I also chose to use the plain white side of the Metallic Foil Doily, as neither silver or gold seemed to fit my project.
I couldn't decide which patterned paper I liked best–the light geometric dotted pattern (from Pop of Pink), or the hand-painted Impressionist-style background (from Blooms & Bliss.) Which is your favorite?
I like the second one better I like both but the second one is my favorite. I like the DSP and everything about the card.
