Welcome to the first post about this week's featured Sale A Bration reward, the What I Love stamp set. Each week during the 13 weeks of Sale A Bration 2016, Stampin' Up's BIGGEST sale of the year, I'm featuring a different reward freebie stamp set or papers here at Song of My Heart Stampers. You'll be able to see multiple ideas for sets you were wondering if you'd find easy and quick to use… wonder no longer! Read about Sale A Bration here, and you'll see why we're so excited for it!
We've featured Sky's the Limit (week one), Botanicals for You (week two), Hello (week three), and Perfect Pairings (last week), so far. Let me introduce you to What I Love! Here are the 10 images in the stamp set.
Yep, it's one of those sets… meant to be stamped on top of each other to add layers of texture and details! But don't worry, this one is super easy to use, because it comes in clear photopolymer, so lining it up is a breeze. We're going to have a lot of fun this week showcasing all the different things you can do with this sweet and simple set! There's a catch, of course! The ONLY way to get What I Love is for free… you must spend $50 before shipping and tax at my online stamp store, and then you can add this or any other Sale A Bration choice to your cart for totally free. There's tons to choose from, and no limits… so it's ok if you go a little crazy! We all lose our heads a little around SAB time each year!
It's a "wintery mix" kind of day here in Wisconsin this morning, so I am particularly drawn in by this color scheme with it's bright pop of coral pink to liven up the cooler blue and gray. I originally started playing with this color combo using Blushing Bride, but that pink wasn't strong enough to hold it's own over the cool colors. Watermelon Wonder stepped up to the job and took no prisoners!
Suggested Color Combination:
These three cards today have been pretty traditional flowery layouts, haven't they… well, wait until you see Thursday's post with three REALLY out-of-the-box ideas for this stamp set! Clean, crisp and ANYTHING but traditional! You're going to want to pin them, for sure. Are you following Song of My Heart on Pinterest? I'd love it if you would!
SO cute, Lyssa….love that you used them without the overstamping, that is amazing! Love it with Watermelon colors, too!
Saw your beautiful pleated pattern featured on Splitcoast tutorials today….am definitely going to have to try that, too!
