Yesterday we visited the ranch of some friends and the kids had a wonderful time petting their beautiful horses. The car thermometer said 100 degrees, but wasn't quite that high actually, and it didn't feel like that because it's so dry here and SO windy, as you can tell by my hair in the next photo!
See how big my baby girl is these days? Gracious, I could hardly lift the child up to pet the horses. My mom and I are hoping to hit some of the nice second hand stores around here and find some clothes to fit my kids! They are both on a growth spurt and eating us out of house and home.
For some reason the horses really liked my dad… we told him it must be because he smells like Cheetos. Isn't the scenery amazing? Can you imagine waking up to that every morning? Just gorgeous. I sure do love this wild and windy state! So thankful I get to bring my kids out here every summer to see the grandparents and experience the unique West.
