Ok, ok, so these papers have really grown on me! I thought I didn't need them, but if you've seen this card and this scrapbook layout (not to mention this Travel Adhesive Kit cover!) you'll conclude, with me, that I actually really did need them.
We made these quick Dragonfly Dreams cards (a sympathy version and a friend version) at Calendar Club this week, and they went together in a flash because the majority of the work on the background was already done for us. All we had to do was add the random bokeh-inspired dots in two colors along the bottom and left edge of the background. Easy!
At first I only had the detailed dragonfly die-cut planned for this card, but WOW did it ever POP when I included the basic cutout behind in in Silver Foil Cardstock. It transformed the card! I gots to order me some more of that! The metallic papers took this card from ho-hum to boy-howdy in about ten seconds flat.
