As you probably know, if you're a regular around these parts, I'm not a huge fan of coloring extensively. I like this card because I only had to 1. color the large leaves in the foreground, 2. quickly cut around the tops, and 3. attach it to a plain, uncolored background with dimensionals. It looked great, but it was even better when I went back in and added a little blue fading up from behind the leaves. It really brought out the Island Indigo card base, too.
I'm loving the SOFT, spreadable color in Stampin' Up's intense new Watercolor Pencils. I've found I like it best with the Blender Pens, blank glycerin "markers" that spread color more vibrantly and use less liquid so the color is not diluted, like you sometimes have with Aqua Painters.
