As you can see, we did snowflakes on the Big Shot with metal flashing on one of our scrapbook pages for club this month. Love the combo of Pacific Point, Whisper White (Join in the Cheer decorative strip die), and the shiny silver metal. It's kind of hard to see, but we made a wide stripe of Shimmer Spray the length of the title, by masking off the top and bottom of the pages rather than just randomly shimmering everything (very tempting to do!)
We also utilized another project from Big Shot Club, the punch art Santa. I have a photo tutorial for the Santa face here. The only difference for this one was we doubled the beard.
Our single page for the month was a fun one to do–a Christmas baking themed layout! we used the Broadsheet alphabet stamps with the Christmas saying from Heard From the Heart, and topped it off with the gingerbread man and saying from the set that goes with the Milk Carton Die, Got Treats? I loved the look of the Jolly Holiday DSP cut with the Tasteful Trims die, layered over a strip of wood grained DSP from Woodland Walk. The Scallop Envelope die was used to create the little envelope, which we tied with some of the luscious Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon. YUM!
I used the Big Shot on all three of these layouts–I use it CONSTANTLY for scrapbooking! If you would like the Big Shot for Christmas, it is NOT too late! I can provide your significant other with a gift certificate as late as 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Have him call me, pronto! Take it easy on the poor guy and put him out of his gift-giving misery this year!
And if you purchase the Big Shot between now and December 31st, I will give you free shipping–that's $10 in savings to spend on some fun dies! Already own the Big Shot? Purchase the equivalent in dies and accessories, and you get free shipping, too. Call today! (920) 261-3962
HO HO HO! These layouts are FANTASTIC!
