If you're like me and don't have a lot of patience for hand-coloring, or have trouble with your hands, I wanted to share an idea so you can still enjoy big beautiful stamps like the new Daisy Garden background. The new Blending Brushes give you a nice soft shade without harsh colors and rigid lines (and therefore in my case, extensive mistakes!)
I did this simple technique live on Facebook last week, plus shared how I use my background stamps with the Stamparatus so it's easier on my hands.
I loved how quickly I could make these lovely daisy backgrounds and make use of this pretty new stamp. It covers the whole cardfront, so just add a little sentiment and you're good to go! It would be really handy for mass-producing wedding thank you cards or invitations, too. Hard to beat the humble daisy for shouting SUMMER! in a cool and classy way. They just make any bouquet so sweet and happy.
Here's a complete list of what I used for these cards!
I actually have some daisies in my front garden this year… although it's hard to spot them because it's been so long since I weeded! Oh dear. I've been so busy this spring I've not even had time to fill my planters and buy a hanging basket like usual. Maybe I'll just pick a bouquet for my momma and let myself off the hook on the gardening for now!
How about you? Are you keeping up with the yard work? And do you have sweet little fresh-faced daisies at your house?
