Dahlia Fold card tutorial from the Parade of Papers blog hop

I realized recently that I never published instructions for the dahlia fold flower card I featured in the last Stampin' Addicts' blog hop during May, and some of you had specifically asked for it. I'm sorry! I hope you found instructions elsewhere, or can still make use of these. I am a flake!
Anyway, here's the card on the left and the deconstructed flower on the right. You can use any size circle punch, and you'll need eight. I would definitely do this with double-sided paper instead of cardstock, because you'll kill your fingers trying to make the little folds if the paper is too heavy.
Take each circle and fold in the side so it looks like a little waffle cone (middle of the three lined up above). Then, fold the fold back on itself (third in the row) so the interior paper is showing. Repeat seven times, arrange into flower shape and adhere. I like glue stick for this because you have a little "nudge" time before it dries.
The middle of the flower sometimes doesn't look so hot, if you were not entirely precise in folding every single petal exactly the same, so I always cover mine with a brad, button, or punch. There ya go. Another one of my stampy queen illusions dispelled. Hope that doesn't tarnish my crown.
